What to Expect During Your Visit

At Boysen Animal Hospital, we believe pet owners should expect both high-quality veterinary medicine and excellent client service. Our goal is to create a warm, professional environment where pets receive advanced care and families feel informed every step of the way.

During your pet’s annual wellness exam, our veterinarians will perform a complete physical assessment — examining your pet’s eyes, ears, mouth, skin, abdomen, and joints. We’ll also review their diet, behavior, and preventive care schedule to identify early signs of health issues.

We encourage clients to keep a written record of their pet’s health, including:

  • Vaccinations and medical procedures
  • Changes in appetite, behavior, or elimination habits
  • Diet, medications, and supplements

This helps us better understand your pet’s unique needs and provide more personalized recommendations.

Should your pet require specialized treatment, Dr. Boysen and our team may refer you to a trusted board-certified specialist in areas such as surgery, internal medicine, or emergency care.
